Save the Date (and a Brief Update)

Hey, long time no see! I know, it’s been forever since I’ve posted anything. I took a temporary break from design because I started an awesome new job. I took a major cut in pay and free time and my new boss screams at me all the time, but it’s seriously the best job I’ve ever had. If you didn’t guess by that job description, I had a baby. That baby is now a toddler and, while not totally independent, I have a bit more time on my hands to design things, so here I am again. I hope to keep you all updated more regularly on the goings-on around here.

For my first project back in the saddle, I designed a Save the Date for my sister-in-law and her future husband. Because we decided to post it on a Facebook event rather than print it, we were able to just include the most basic information on the actual image—their names and location information are included in the actual Facebook event. The bride and groom are going for a vintage-style brunch for the wedding, so we carried that theme over into the Save the Date, and the invitations will eventually match that styling.
